When I arrived at the event I was met with a warm reception from the host who introduced me to the other members. The event  was like having a dinner party but of course these were people I hadn’t met before. By the end of the meal I had met some really nice people and thoroughly enjojed my evening. I was nervous about meeting a crowd of new people, especially going in to the restaurant on my own, but the hosts made me feel most welcome. All the other diners were in the same position and everyone was friendly. It was good fun and I look forward to the next event.
